Each candidate will be given 10 minutes to speak -followed by 15 minutes Q&A.

The youthfully energetic, Timothy Ballard, accomplished historian and author, will discuss the central premise of his book: “The American Covenant: One Nation Under God” (Asserts the ancient biblical Covenant of Abraham reaches the zenith of its fulfillment in the divine establishment of the United States of America --- and that the founders actually understood that and worked toward the “grand design.”) His remarkable research and writings have triggered a growing dialogue on the topic and has even inspired a major documentary/motion picture targeted for release to a national audience and cable history channels for release next year (2012). Every American needs to learn and understand this.
Tim Ballard will be giving a summary of his full presentation so that people can also hear Cherilyn Eagar and ask questions.

- The United Women’s Forum is the outgrowth of a neighborhood of women in Bountiful Utah who became very concerned with the growth of pornography, gay-rights issues, the threat against religious freedom and expression, and liberalism of moral values in the media and in our country. We banned together in the fall of 2006 to try to do something to make a difference. We were officially organized under the banner of United Women’s forum in March of 2007. We are dedicated to staying informed and presenting ways we can help existing national organizations and legislators that promote family, faith and freedom. Our Mission Statement is...to encourage and motivate women of faith to unite and stand together in promoting and defending moral government.
GUIDING PRINCIPLES
1. We are women of a firm faith in Jesus Christ and believe that it is His right to rule in the affairs of men.
2. We believe that the foundations of true liberty are found in Jesus Christ and His gospel. We also believe that our founding fathers were fully aware of this connection when they laid the foundations of our liberty.
3. We must understand the nature of the conflict and the issues that threaten our liberties.
4. We believe that if we are to succeed in this battle we must be faithful and fearless by putting on the whole armor of God. By doing this we will be strengthened and empowered.
5. We know that if we will hold fast to these governing principles and continue in diligence and in faith that God will give us victory.
